Student Eligibility Requirements
All students who are funded must meet eligibility requirements outlined as follows:

Be a registered status Aboriginal from Witsuwit'en First Nation and have a current status card photocopy for student file;

Be a Canadian resident for the past 12 months prior to application;

Be accepted by an eligible post secondary institution;

Be accepted into an eligible program of study (i.e. certificate, diploma, degree, or University college entrance program UCEP) and,
-
Maintain continued academic standing with the institution.
IMPORTANT DEADLINE:

If you wish to attend university for September admission, please contact us as soon as possible. Application deadline for universities such as UBC is January 15, others like UNBC is March 1; no late applications are accepted.

Application deadline for most colleges is March 31; late applications are accepted if space permits.
